who is liable at a pet boarding facility

by eydie
(ohio)

I have been boarding some dogs at a boarding facility for a few months after losing my home. The person has a small rural boarding facility and was nice enough to board the dogs because they were rescues at a discounted rate. However, a few days a go, two of the dogs pulled a ten month old yorkie underneath a chain link fence seperating them in play yards and killed him. The dog belongs to the owner of the kennel. These are not viscous dogs prior, i have had them for amny years. Am I responsible, or liable, for the death of the dog? I am in Ohio and the boarding kennel is in tennessee. Thanks.
