Rabbit insurance is available through Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) under their Avian and Exotic Pet Plan.

What’s Covered

Hospitalization, X-rays, prescriptions, lab fees, minor treatments, illnesses, and accidents are covered under this plan.

Reimbursement

VPI will pay up to 90% of the benefit schedule or up to 90% of the veterinary bill, whichever is lower.

What Does It Cost?

Starting around $10 a month you can get a basic plan and the deductible is likely around $100 at this price level. Monthly premiums vary greatly because of discounts, age of animals, and pre-existing conditions
