Pets Best Insurance is a company located in Boise, Idaho. It is one of the first companies to offer pet policies and was founded by Jack Stephens a veterinarian. They offer three different plans, Pets Basic, Pets First, and Pets Premier. With each of these plans you can also choose your deductible which can range from $100-$500.

Pets First

With this plan you get a lifetime limit of $100,000 and a per incident limit of $7000. Once per lifetime coverages: behavioral conditions up to $300, pregnancies up to $400, hereditary conditions up to $1000, cremation costs up to $300, and acupuncture and holistic therapy up to $250.

Pets Premier

With this plan you can only choose 2 deductible levels, they are $250 or $500. The lifetime limit is $100,000 and the per incident limit is $14,000. Once per lifetime coverages include behavioral conditions up to $400, pregnancies up to $500, hereditary conditions up to $2500, cremation costs up to $400, and acupuncture and holistic therapy up to $500.

Best Wellness

In addition to these three plans, they also have this add-on coverage plan called Best Wellness. With this plan you have wellness exams, teeth cleaning, vaccinations, as well as spay and neuter coverage, also some routine testing like fecal exams and heartworm testing is covered too. These plans start around $22 a month for dogs and $22 a month for cats.

What The Plans Cover

These plans cover illness, and accidents, injuries, MRI, CAT scans, x-rays, surgeries, cancer treatments, prescription medications, after hour emergencies, visits to specialists, acupuncture, chiropractic therapy, and hospitalization.

Discounts

Most companies offer several different types of discounts that you can qualify for. This company offers a 7-15% discount if you sign up for more than one pet.
