PetFirst Pet Insurance is located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and was founded by Lansdon Robbins and Brent Hinton. A few things that separate this company from the rest is that there are no per diagnosis limits and premiums are not affected by age, breed, or location. Also, unlike many other companies these plans are available in all 50 states.

Accident Only

The Accident Only plan starts at $16.95 for cats and dogs and covers up to $3000 with a $50 deductible and 100% reimbursement.

Basic Plan

The Basic Plan starts at $24.95 for cats and $29.95 for dogs. This plan covers up to $7500 in accident protection and also offers 90% reimbursement with a $50 deductible. You also received $250 towards advertising for lost dogs and for boarding fees.

Preferred Plan

The Preferred Plan costs $29.95 for cats and $39.95 for dogs. It covers up to $12,000 in accidents and illnesses, and it also has routine care coverage. The deductible is $50 and you are reimbursed 90% at this level. You also receive $50 for lost dogs advertising and for theft. Also there is $500 towards kennel fees and trip cancellation.

Preferred Plus Plan

The Preferred Plus Plan starts at $41.95 for cats and $49.95 for dogs. It covers up to $15,000 in accident illness coverage, $3500 per incident limit, $220 for routine care limit, and has a deductible of $50. You also receive $500 towards boarding fees, theft, and trip cancellation. Also there is $100 towards burial or cremation.

Senior Plan

The Senior Plan starts at $66.95 for dogs and cats. It has an accident/illness coverage limit up to $2000 and has a $100 deductible. This plan only reimburses up to 80% and pets are eligible to enroll when they’re 10 years of age or older.
