Pet Insurance Misconceptions #2: Its Pet Insurance or Nothingby Dr. Chris September 30, 2011 At #2 on our list of pet insurance misconceptions is that some people don’t realize that there are other options besides pet insurance. Many people believe that they have to choose between having pet insurance or having no financial plan for your pets. But there are many options available. For instance, Pet Assure and other options out there pay a flat percentage of your veterinary bill visit. You don’t have to file any claim forms. At the end of one year you would have $300 dollars saved up! As you can see there are other more creative options than just having to choose between pet insurance or nothing at all for your pet.
