Is Cheap Pet Insurance Worth The Price?

Cheap pet insurance can be worth the price depending on your situation. There are many policies that you can get for less than $10 a month that cover basic accidents.

But even at $10 a month you are paying $120 a year, and if your pet lives 12 years, you end up paying a total of $1440.

Some people still believe pet insurance is not worth it at any price, while other people think at least having basic accident coverage is best.

It all comes down to your personal preference. If you have access to cash reserves, or can save some money in a pet emergency fund, than any pet insurance, no matter how cheap is not worth the price.

Remember, pet insurance adds hundreds of dollars to the cost of owning a pet, and you rarely make any of that money back.

You are essentially paying for piece of mind, in an expensive way.
