There is not shortage of California pet insurance plans to choose from. Unlike other states, almost all national companies that offer pet policies, make their plans available in this state.

Getting A Quote

You can get a pet policy quote from most companies websites, or you can contact a pet insurance broker or agent in California.

Remember, it is best to get at least three quotes from different companies to be sure you are getting not only a good price, but also good value.

Remember, the cheapest pet insurance policy is not always the best. You should first start by asking yourself what you want covered. Do you only want accidents and illnesses covered, or do you want a comprehensive policy that covers vaccinations, spays, or neuters.

Local California Pet Insurance

One national company I know of that is actually based in Brea, California is VPI. They are actually the largest pet insurance company. There are others located in the state, or at least have some offices there, but VPI is the main one in the state.
